Seth Marcum
Attorney
Bio
Seth Marcum is a life long Stark County resident who grew up in Perry Township and now lives in Massillon. While in law school, he interned as clerk for the West Virginia Attorney General’s Office assisting with complex litigation matters ranging from taxation issues, employment matters, regulatory concerns, and even assisted on multiple briefs filed in the United States Supreme Court, as well as filing his own brief in the Supreme Court of West Virginia. This led Mr. Marcum to the Canton City Prosecutors Office where he tried more cases than he can count, mediated disputes in the community between residents, and advised police in their investigations. Mr. Marcum then went on to the Stark County Prosecutor’s Office where he tried many more jury trials including murders, rape, and home title fraud. While there he also developed a niche for financial crimes and fraud related to real property. This led him to develop a strong working relationship with many county officials as well as a deep understanding of how their offices work. This, finally, led Seth to DiCaudo, Pitchford, & Yoder where he enjoys the challenge of assisting municipalities to secure their goals and their constituents. Mr. Marcum also serves as the Ward One Councilman in the City of Massillon and is an active member of the Stark County Bar Association.
