Amy Corrigall Jones Appointed To Replace Patricia Cosgrove As Summit County Court Of Common Pleas Judge

Today it was announced that Amy Corrigall Jones has been named by Ohio Governor John Kasich to replace recently retired Judge Patrica Cosgrove in the Summit County Court of Common Pleas. Kasich appointed Jones after she was recommended by the Summit County Republican Party for the post.

Jones will assume the office on January 20 to finish the remainder of Cosgrove’s term, which will be up for a full six-year term in this November’s general election.

Jones recieved her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Kent State University and earned her law degree at the University of Akron. Since 2006, Jones has served as managing partner at Corrigall & Jones, Attorneys at Law, which has offices in both Akron and Ravenna.
