The Brunswick Police Department announced that it will be cracking down on drunk drivers Super Bowl weekend by running saturation patrols.
Brunswick Police Lt. Brian Ohlin stated, “The men and women of law enforcement are going to be out in the community enforcing the law very strictly during Super Bowl weekend. It's during these peak times we want to make a big impact and let people know that we're out there doing our jobs.”
No word yet on what steps other law enforcement agencies will be taking to curb impaired driving over the Super Bowl weekend but more information will be posted as it becomes available.
