I was charged with some very serious drug charges in state court. The police found drugs and guns in my house when they showed up to investigate an alleged domestic violence. I had been to prison numerous times in the past and my record was not good. I knew that I was caught but I wanted to work a deal that did not include me going to prison on a repeat violent offender spec or major drug spec. I was facing a potential 25 year sentence. I never cooperated with the police or made any statements.
