I got pulled over in Akron by an Ohio State trooper. He claimed that I was swerving in and out of lanes. He arrested me for DUI once he smelled my breath and said I had bloodshot eyes. The officer had me perform field sobriety tests but I did not do very well on them. I interviewed a number of lawyers, one of which was Tom DiCaudo. I decided to go with Tom because he was the most honest out of all the lawyers I spoke to and I felt most comfortable with them. Tom filed a motion to suppress arguing that I did not go over double yellow lines which was clear on the video. The judge decided not to rule in our favor. Therefore, Tom and I decided to take the case to trial. The prosecutor’s office had a supervisor handle the case and after a day of testimony the jury took 15 minutes to find me Not Guilty. This was my second time charged with DUI. My first time I pled guilty to DUI even though I thought I could beat it because my lawyer told me to. Tom is definitely not that kind of lawyer. He will fight for you and do everything he possibly can to make sure that you are treated fairly and get the justice you deserve.
