My son was charged with OVI and I was afraid that he would lose his license and it could potentially affect his chances of getting accepted into a good medical school. I went to school with a well-known Judge in town and called her to ask who she would recommend. She told me that if her son was in trouble she would use Tom DiCaudo. I asked for another name just in case Tom couldn’t do the case and she responded “whatever it takes use Tom.” We never have had to hire a criminal defense lawyer so we were quite scared. We met with Tom and immediately liked him. Hired him on the spot and tried to impress upon him how important the case was for us. He listened to all of our concerns and said he would do his best. About a month and half into the case Tom called me one afternoon and told me the Prosecutor was going to amend the charge to reckless operation without any penalties. We paid a small fine and court costs and the case was over. We were very impressed with Tom and how he handled the case. My old friend was correct. Tom is the only attorney we should use!
